Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Mothership Method ("we", "us", or the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

Mothership Method is a multi-tenant persistent-memory platform for AI agents (such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and other Model Context Protocol-compatible tools). The Service includes:

• A workspace your AI agents read from and write to as persistent organizational memory
• A cryptographic audit log that records every event in a tamper-evident chain
• A capability and approval engine that lets you gate sensitive AI actions
• A dashboard for managing projects, preferences, integrations, and audit history
• The mm-mcp connector binary, which bridges your AI applications to your workspace

The Service operates in two modes: Solo Operator (shared infrastructure) and Team / Enterprise (dedicated infrastructure). Features may vary by mode and tier.

To use the Service, you must register an account with your name, email address, and a password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when you register
• Keep your information current
• Keep your password confidential and never share your credentials
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that takes place under your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

We may refuse registration or suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, particularly if we have reason to believe these Terms have been violated.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Store, transmit, or process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or its underlying infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious software
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialize the Service without our written permission
• Bypass rate limits, security measures, or usage quotas
• Train competing models or services on data accessed through the Service
• Access the Service through bots, scrapers, or other automated means, except via our documented APIs

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy without prior notice. In severe cases — abuse, security threats, or active harm to others — we may act immediately to protect the Service and our users.

During the beta period the Service is free. Once paid plans launch, the following will apply:

• Plans and prices appear on our pricing page and at checkout
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card details
• Refunds are considered case by case, at our discretion
• Failed payments may lead to suspension or termination of access
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction
• Promotional offers and trials are subject to the additional terms shown at signup

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email to registered users. Continuing to use the Service after a price change means you accept the new pricing.

You own everything you put in.All data, events, projects, and content you create or upload through the Service ("Your Content") remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not use Your Content to train AI models, serve advertising, or share it with third parties — except for the sub-processors strictly necessary to run the Service (see our Privacy Policy for the full list).

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that you have the rights necessary to store and process it through the Service, and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

All right, title, and interest in and to the Service — including the software, mm-mcp binaries, documentation, branding, designs, and underlying technology — are and remain the exclusive property of Mothership Method and its licensors. These Terms grant you no ownership or licensing rights beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us about the Service may be used by us freely, without obligation, attribution, or compensation.

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings, or by emailing onboarding@mothershipmethod.cloud.

When you delete your account:

• Your access to the Service ends immediately
• We hold Your Content for a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind and want to restore it
• After 30 days, Your Content is permanently and irrecoverably deleted from our production systems
• Encrypted backups may still contain a copy for up to 90 days, until the routine rotation overwrites them
• Audit logs and aggregate metrics that contain no personal data may be retained for security and compliance purposes

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we are required to do so by law.

We work to keep the Service up and running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

During the beta period, the Service may experience downtime, data inconsistencies, or breaking changes. Do not store data through the Service that you cannot afford to lose.

We do not guarantee that AI agents connected through the Service will produce accurate, reliable, or appropriate output. You are responsible for reviewing anything generated by an AI before relying on it or acting on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mothership Method will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so parts of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mothership Method, its affiliates, employees, and contractors against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with:

• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or any third-party right
• Your Content stored or processed through the Service
• Unauthorized use of your account credentials due to your negligence

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time — features, capabilities, pricing, or infrastructure. If a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan, we'll give reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a pro-rated refund.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll let registered users know about material changes by email and by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.

The governing law and dispute-resolution provisions of these Terms will be finalized once Mothership Method's legal entity structure is in place. In the meantime, any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
